Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using save.design ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

save.design is a technical design inspiration workspace. The Service allows you to save design references, create and share code components, organize content in workspaces, and collaborate with others.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Workspaces & Collaboration

You may create workspaces and invite others to collaborate. Workspace owners are responsible for managing member permissions and the content within their workspaces. Members must respect the access levels assigned to them.

5. Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant save.design the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation. You are not obligated to provide feedback.

6. User Content & Ownership

• You retain full ownership of all content you create or upload to the Service, including components, shaders, pages, and files. save.design makes no claim of ownership over your content.
• By posting content publicly (e.g. submitting to the component library or making your creator profile public), you grant save.design a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of operating the Service.
• You represent that you have the necessary rights to any content you upload and that it does not infringe on the rights of any third party.
• When you delete content, it is permanently removed from our servers. We do not retain copies of deleted content.

7. Saved References

The Service allows you to save references to third-party websites, images, and videos. These references remain the intellectual property of their original creators. save.design does not claim ownership of third-party content. You are responsible for ensuring your use of saved references complies with applicable laws and the rights of content owners.

8. Component Library

Components submitted to the public component library are visible to all users. By submitting a component, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not infringe on anyone else's intellectual property. Do not include malicious code, credentials, or sensitive data in submitted components.

9. Chrome Extension

The Save Design Chrome extension is an optional tool that allows you to save content directly from your browser. The extension only acts when you explicitly interact with it. Use of the extension is subject to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others.
• Submit malicious code, scripts, or components designed to harm users or the Service.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts, workspaces, or private content without authorization.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service without permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

11. Copyright & DMCA

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe content on save.design infringes your copyright, contact us at hello@save.design with a description of the copyrighted work, the infringing material, and your contact information. We will review and respond to valid notices promptly. Repeated infringement may result in account termination.

12. Third-Party Links & Content

The Service may display or link to third-party websites and content. These are provided for reference only. save.design does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for third-party content, and accessing it is at your own risk.

13. Intellectual Property

The save.design name, logo, interface design, and underlying code are the property of save.design. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.

14. Termination

• You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data after a reasonable period.

15. Indemnity

You agree to hold save.design and its operators harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

16. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. You use the Service at your own risk.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, save.design and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, revenue, or profits.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
